ABOUT ME

What's not to like about what I teach?!  Computers & Technology are 21st Century Skills which all students are exposed to to some extent in their educational careers.  I take it a few steps further, refining their skills and developing a deeper understanding of the how & why of applications, stemming in project format.

This course is focused on the theme of digital storytelling. Students will explore methods of
communication and expression in a technological world rich with digital media. All exploration and
creation will be rooted in the practice of Planning, Producing and Publishing quality, finished work.
Students will work with digital photography, music, digital video and graphic design tools to create
digital stories that seek to inform, enlighten, empower and entertain. In so doing, students will
experience what it means to be an author and expert in the digital world. Class projects will include
both news-oriented material and creative assignments.

7th Computers/Multimedia

This course is focused on expanding the various medias available for students to produce
multi media projects. All exploration and creation will be rooted in the practice of Planning, Producing,
and Publishing quality, finished work. Students will explore the aspects of combining text, video,
graphics, and sound to create digital media that seek to inform, enlighten, empower and entertain. In so doing, students will experience what it means to be an author in the digital world.
